Beyond the Spectrum is all about breaking free from conventional thinking and unlocking innovative solutions. This year' theme encourages us to embrace a broader range of perspectives, looking beyond the obvious to solve challenges in unique and transformative ways. Just like engineers studied bird wings to revolutionize flight, we are invited to draw inspiration from nature, technology, and diverse cultures to think creatively. By expanding our understanding and challenging traditional methods, we can discover better ways to address problems and create a more sustainable and inclusive tomorrow. This theme reminds us that real innovation comes from overcoming limitations and finding value in diverse viewpoints.

What is TED?

TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Started as a four-day conference in California 30 years ago, TED has grown to support its mission with multiple initiatives. The two annual TED Conferences invite the world's leading thinkers and doers to speak for 18 minutes or less. Many of these talks are then made available, free, at TED.com. TED speakers have included Bill Gates, Jane Goodall, Elizabeth Gilbert and Sir Richard Branson and many more.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations).

What is TEDxCRCE?

TEDxCRCE brings together a collection of doers, thinkers, innovators, explorers, visionaries, teachers, learners and seeks to illuminate, inspire, change perceptions, incite action and foster new connections. TEDxCRCE strives to recreate the unique experience found at TED, where the world's leading thinkers and doers congregate to share what they are most passionate about. We aim to provide a platform where the smartest thinkers, greatest visionaries, and most fascinating teachers will be inspired and will have the opportunity to inspire others.
